Mechanical Process CD Release Show 10/04/2013 @ McNeil’s Tavern
Mechanical Process held a little party at McNeil’s Tavern in North Providence on October 4th to celebrate the release of their second CD titled, Respect The Anger. This is the first full length album put out by the band since their debut EP in early 2012. The release was delayed a bit due to a lineup change after bassist Sam Murray left to pursue other interests and was replace by Eric Perreault, who was brought up to speed so quickly the band was only sidelined for a few weeks. Supporting Mechanical Process for the night was Worcester hardcore band Vultures, Infested Prophecy, a death metal band also from Worcester and local RI favorites, Train Of Thought. This mix of genres fit perfectly with Mechanical Processes hard to pin down style. Overall the show went off great, but unfortunately we did miss Vultures. As would be expected from one of the loudest bands in the state, the boys of Process drew the attention of North Providences finest, who showed up not once, but two times to tell them to keep it down!
We didn’t shoot much video because our camera is on it’s way out, but Lisa did manage to shoot most of MP’s set. They played the new album in it’s entirety, beginning to end and even had old bassist Sam on stage to help with the vocals on Battlecries. So give them a peek and if you lie what you hear, come out to a show and maybe grab a CD.
